Shell LiveWire Award Translates into Long-Term Business

If you ask Jurga Zilinskiene our founder and computer coding entrepreneur CEO: what was the key turning point for her in business? She will say with electrically charged enthusiasm, “Shell LiveWIRE!”. Established in 1982, the Shell LiveWire programme has become the UK’s largest online community that recognises and rewards young entrepreneurs and provides them with free advice and funding.

“Winning a prestigious award is a great confidence booster,” says Jurga, “but winning Shell International as a long-standing customer is a tremendous honour”, she adds. Over the years, a number of young entrepreneurs have successfully made the transition from award winner to a supplier and Shell LiveWire are keen to enable more businesses to join Shell’s supply chain.

We were thrilled when Shell LiveWire asked Jurga to share her experience and insights on what it means to receive recognition from Shell; what it takes to join their highly specialised supply chain and how the experience propelled her and Today Translations into the business super league.
