Today Translations announces
'Linguist of the Year'
Today Translations announced the winner of the ‘Linguist of the Year’ award in a ceremony held at the Wright's Wine Bar in the City of London. In an unprecedented initiative in the translation industry, Jurga Zilinskiene, Managing Director of Today Translations, awarded the distinctive prize to Adriana Francisco, Portuguese translator. Adriana was chosen amongst a pool of over 2,000 linguists currently registered with the company.
The event also marked the launch of “Carbon Club” a unique society for the 700+ clients of the company. The club aims to be a regular socialising venue, offering its members the unique opportunity to network and share cultural experiences. The first meeting of the club was attended by top-level executives representing diverse industries, including Financial, Legal, Medical, Oil & Gas, Software, Media and Public Sector.
