Assistant Project Manager Intern

Today Translations is a global language service provider with its HQ located in the City of London. We manage thousands of projects varying in complexity on behalf of our FTSE 100 clients and strive to consistently provide a first class service in accordance with our ISO 9001 accreditation standards. The role, based in our friendly London office and offered for a minimum of 3 months, would be ideal for a Translations student or graduate seeking invaluable experience and training in the field of project management.

  • Supplier liaison including sourcing, negotiating rates, performance rating, in line with client requirements and company margin targets
  • Quality check translations to ensure the final delivery to the client is fit for purpose
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date project records
  • Provide ad hoc Senior Project Team and Office support tasks including data collation and assessment, scanning and filing, guest and Board Room management

This role will work under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager, and as such on-going training and mentoring will be provided in full-cycle project management including:

  • Risk assessment and mitigation
  • Cost planning
  • Solution design
  • Complaint management
  • Translation memory management
  • Use of technology in the language industry
