CNN is one of the world’s leading 24-hour news organisations, aired in more than 200 countries the world over with a global outreach of more than 200 million household and hotels. Today Translations has been providing translation and interpreting services for CNN on a regular basis since 2010.

Project scope

Given the fast-paced nature of 24-hour news and its international coverage, our project managers have always needed to react incredibly fast to meet CNN’s requests. Frequent projects include translating video footage and providing voiceovers.
However, one of our greatest challenges came after a tragic attack in northern Europe a few years ago. CNN’s reporters and journalists urgently needed an interpreter to work with them. With most of the country on high-alert, we succeeded in sourcing an available interpreter with all the right credentials within the hour who was ready to work alongside the CNN team from the very outset.
