    Reliable Romanian Translations

Today Translations is the agency of choice for blue chip business leaders and private clients alike, who recognise the value of the quality, experience and security that we offer. From our headquarters in the historic heart of London, we have spent 15 years gathering an incredible team of translation professionals and cultivating unrivalled industry know-how.

The basic promise is simple – we guarantee that your Romanian translations will only ever be translated by a mother tongue speaker of the target language with the highest levels of bilingualism, be it from Romanian to English or English to Romanian.

    Industry Expertise

    Speed of Service

Your time is important. Because of that, we have made every effort to streamline the translation process from start to finish.

Our drive for efficiency is best shown by our project management system, QCS+. It was designed and programmed under the supervision of our CEO, in response to frustrating failings of previous industry-standard systems. It affords a 360 degree view of a project down to its finest details, giving unrivalled scope over control, bespoke service, and delivery times.

The forward-thinking technological sophistication of the Today Translations system is now renowned across the industry.

A typical workload for one professional Romanian translator would be the translation of 2,000-2,500 words per day. This figure should be taken into account when planning for the delivery of your project, although we can of course organise larger teams of translators to perform the service on an express basis where necessary.

    Competitive Rates

For the customer, price is always paramount. That’s why we’re committed to finding you the best price possible for the project you have in mind. Taking this into account does not mean we will cut other corners; our insistence on employing only the finest linguists means that the quality of your Romanian translations will be guaranteed.

    Expertly managed translation services

The Project Managers at Today Translations work in at atmosphere that demands the highest standards. They all possess official certifications from the Association of Project Managers, as well as being qualified linguists in their own right, which means they have expert knowledge on the technical sensitivities of translation jobs. Their work is streamlined by the best project management and translation memory tools available to translation professionals. This level of industry and subject matter knowledge gives clients safety in the consistency of quality control involved in the service.

If you have any questions, before, during, or after you work with us, please do not hesitate to contact our team.

    Translation Security Systems

Today Translations is unique in the Language Services sector because of the attention to detail to our customers’ data security. What is true for private clients is also true for corporates: unmanaged supply chains involving unaudited and unaccountable foreign language translation can leave your best interests exposed. Our response to this was to become the first specialist translation company in the United Kingdom to be awarded an official ISO:27001 Data Security Accreditation. Our systems and measures for this qualification are regularly audited and guarantee that we run a watertight ship when dealing with your sensitive personal data.

    Romanian Language Facts

The name of Romanian comes from the Latin romanus (‘roman citizen’), indicating Romania’s fascinating heritage at the Eastern extremity of the Roman Empire, during which time it was known as Dacia. Today, the country has the curious distinction of being the only Romance language spoken in Eastern Europe. That means it is very closely related to familiar languages such as French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. That said, its geographical position at the confluence of many historical migration patterns means that Romanian’s lexicon is highly diverse, incorporating influences from Turkish, Greek, Hungarian, and a range of Slavic languages.

It is spoken by 24 million people as a native language, with over 4 million who speak it as a second. It is primarily spoken in Romania and Moldova, as well as a sizeable diaspora spread over other continents.
