From Hanoi to Saigon and everywhere inbetween, our professional Vietnamese translators have the local knowledge and language skills to make your project stand out from the crowd
Today Translations has, since our foundation in 2001, steadily consolidated its success and stature to establish itself as London’s professional translation service provider of choice for thousands of private clients, and many more governmental agencies, NGOs, and blue-chip corporations.
From our headquarters in the City of London, we have spent 15 years honing a framework and a team of talented individuals who come together to provide an unrivalled translation service, no matter the obscurity of the language, the complexity of the job, or the tightness of the deadline involved.
Our fundamental idea about ensuring quality is simple. We can guarantee that your Vietnamese translation will always be translated by a linguist whose mother tongue is the target language (be it from Vietnamese to English, vice-versa, or any other combination), and moreover will have demonstrated exemplary standards of professional bilingualism.
Vietnamese is a language with very significant regional variations, and so it is always a priority to localize the translation to the exact audience with whom you want to communicate.
In addition, they will possess a respected academic qualification in translation, as will also be able to demonstrate a minimum of five years of successful work either in the translation industry or in the specific technical sector pertaining to the job. Remember, no area is too technical for us to take on; we have the Vietnamese contacts to excel in any area.
The quality of your translation comes first, and so we are sure never to relax with these standards.
Beyond simply assuring a quality service, Today Translations recognises the importance of other pressures on the client. And in our digitized world, one of the most pressing issues for anyone making sensitive transactions is that of data security.
In recent times, commentators from public to business to governmental circles have warned repeatedly of the rising dangers of fraud and data theft posed by cybercrime networks.
It is the provision of foreign language services in particular that is known to be one of the highest-risk areas, as without proper safeguards it becomes vulnerable to third party interference which the client at risk is unable to rectify themselves. When you are engaging in the dissemination of foreign language materials to wider external audiences, it is highly advisable to work with a translation agency who has taken extra measures to seal all the potential gaps in the supply chain from Hanoi to London. Today Translations is proud to be ahead of the curve on this front; we were the first specialist translation company in the UK to be awarded the official ISO: 27001 Data Security Accreditation, which guides best practice and full compliance in all aspects of data security. Our systems for ISO:27001 are regularly audited, assuring that your personal data and financial information are protected in every eventuality when you work with us.
Time is of the essence in every translation project. Today Translations analyses every step of its translation workflow to pass on every efficiency saving to you.
Our company has always been a pacesetter when it comes to eliminating inefficiencies. Frustrated by shortcomings in management systems that were previously industry-standard, our CEO Jurga Zilinskiene learnt coding before designing our project management system, QCS+.
This bespoke CRM system empowers our project managers to have a 360 degree view of every aspect of each project. The result is that no stone is left unturned and no detail is left neglected. The precision this lends to our work makes the process of refinement and delivery significantly quicker and smoother for the client than it might have been working under a less powerful system.
While quality, security, and speed are of undoubted importance to each and every client, we also understand that the deciding factor in the procurement of language services is likely to be price. That is why, in preparing the quote for your proposed Vietnamese translation project, we make full use of our global network of contacts to find not just the most skilled candidates for the job but also the ones offering the most convenient rates. Our project managers will strive to make the consultation process as easy as possible with our transparent pricing structure, so you’ll never be left in the dark as to any detail.
Today Translations is also keen to offer discounted rates for long term clients, corporate partnerships, or significantly larger projects, so that you can see the value of your investment in translating with us appreciate over time.
The service provided by Today Translations is underpinned by the work of our Project Managers. Each and every project manager we employ will gain official qualifications from the Association of Project Managers shortly after joining the company. In addition, they are professional linguists themselves, which means they have a rigorous eye for detail on the finer details of translation work.
Their work is streamlined by the best Translation Memory tools available on the market. Translation Memory is not Machine translation – we only work with human translation – but it is a computerized system which builds and collates client specific glossaries with industry terminology and preferred phrasing. It allows us to eliminate repetitions on larger jobs, cutting out much of the laborious work of normal translation, and passing the savings both in time and cost on to our client.
Should you have any queries about the way we work and why it would work for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
Vietnamese is an Austroasiatic language spoken by upwards of 80 million people. The majority of its speakers reside in Vietnam, but there are many Vietnamese communities spread throughout the border regions of neighbouring countries, as well as an enormous diaspora community spread throughout the Western world.
Vietnamese has close geographical links with China, and until relatively recently their language was written with a modified Chinese character script. However, European missionaries developed a version of the Roman alphabet to cope with the Vietnamese language, which is why their writing looks so familiar in form today. Not so in content though. Vietnamese can be an extremely complex language to learn, as it has even more tones than Mandarin Chinese; six tones in the North, where Hanoi is the standard, and five in the south, where Saigon is the main industrial centre.

We were overall delighted with the standard of service and Today Translations delivered, in terms of translation quality, time and attentive customer care. They were highly responsive, creative and were central to the success of the translation and quality assurance process. The project managers we dealt with were collaborative and operated very much as part of the team. I would commend our experience of working with Today Translations to other organisations requiring professional translation services.
