Today Translations is proud to announce that it will once again be working with Addiply

Today Translations is proud to announce that it will once again be working with Addiply, an award-winning online advertising exchange, translating and localising its platform for the Japanese market.

The Japanese platform is scheduled to launch this spring after Addiply secured a six-figure investment from Tokyo-based Power Technology Inc. The investment was facilitated by the UK Trade & Investment Venture Capital Unit, set up to help UK start-up companies connect with foreign investors.

Addiply stated that one of the key factors in securing the investment was that it had already implemented a multi-lingual platform. In autumn 2012, Today Translations worked with Addiply to launch a Welsh language version of the platform.

“In the current funding climate – particularly for early stage companies like our own – to meet the likes of Shoko Nakajima from PowerTech, in the surroundings of Google Campus too, was a wonderful opportunity” said Addiply CEO Rick Waghorn.

“The prospect of having a Japanese language platform in time for the launch of our Open and Public API next spring is really exciting – particularly as we start to bring all our thinking on local, online advertising to bear on that exploding mobile space.”

We look forward to working with Addiply again and the launch and success of their new Japanese platform.
