Group Head, Anti-Corruption and Multilingual Due Diligence


David Clarke is Today Translation and Business Services’ Group Head Anti-Corruption & Multilingual Due Diligence Services, Board Member of Today Advisory Services, and a Director of the Fraud Advisory Panel.

David helped Today Translations become the first specialist language firm in the world to secure ISO 27001 data security certification for its global operations. As a leading counter fraud expert, he provides the firm and our clients with security assurance advice; helping to manage risks associated client data, as well as the recruitment and effective deployment of our international network of security-cleared linguists, cultural advisors, and business experts.

David started his career in the Royal Air Force Military Police, before transitioning to the City of London Police and working his way through the ranks to Detective Chief Superintendent. He was the police service leader responsible for the design and establishment of the UK’s National Fraud Intelligence Bureau, and its subsequent Director. As well as his long tenure with the City of London Police, David was asked to join the United Nations International Police in Bosnia and Herzegovina as Head of Investigations, and also lent his expertise to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
