    Qualified, experienced simultaneous interpreters

Simultaneous conference interpreting is one of the toughest skills a linguist can master, as it requires complete focus and a sharp attention to detail.

With Today Translations as your dedicated language and interpreting provider, you can rest assured that we’ll only provide you with the most qualified interpreters, all of whom have first-hand expertise and experience within your industry and are accredited members of the Institutions of Translation and Interpreting

No matter where in the world your conference is taking place, or how many languages you need to cater for, Today Translations will ensure that nothing gets lost in translation.

    How simultaneous conference interpreting works

Simultaneous interpreting at conferences requires that the linguist orally translates at the same rate of speech as the original speaker, with a very short time lag.

If there are a number of foreign delegates in attendance, we’ll be sure to provide you with an simulatenaours conference interpreter trained in interpreting from a booth and speaking through a transmission system. If you require interpreting equipment for your conference, let us know and we’ll gladly make the arrangements.

You can find out more about our interpreting equipment hire here.

If you only require simultaneous interpreting services for a single client, our whispered interpreting may suit you better.

An outstanding service at a great price

At Today Translations, our accounts team aims to provide you with a highly-consultative approach to customer service for every project, ensuring that you receive a service that’s tailored specifically to your event, for the best possible price.

Just tell us your requirements, as well as where, and what time and day your conference is taking place, and leave the rest up to us.

Our general simultaneous conference interpreting rates start at £450 per day, though these may be subject to the industry and required expertise.

To book a simultaneous interpreter for your conference, simply get in touch with us and one of our dedicated account managers will discuss all your requirements with you, before sending you a quote. Once confirmed, we’ll arrange for an interpreter to be at your conference, on time and well prepared.

To book, contacts us via email at [email protected] or call us on +44 (0) 207 397 2770.

Tom Kendon (Deputy Head of International Programmes)

We were overall delighted with the standard of service and Today Translations delivered, in terms of translation quality, time and attentive customer care. They were highly responsive, creative and were central to the success of the translation and quality assurance process. The project managers we dealt with were collaborative and operated very much as part of the team. I would commend our experience of working with Today Translations to other organisations requiring professional translation services.
