About Swahili
Although Swahili, also known as Kiswahili, is only spoken by roughly 5 million people as their mother tongue, it still remains one of the most widely spoken languages in Africa, with the total number of speakers exceeding 150 million people.
Swahili serves as the lingua franca for much of the southern half of East Africa, is the official language of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
It is also widely spoken among communities in Rwanda, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as almost the entire population of Burundi.
Please also feel free to contact us for any other African language translations, and we’ll be sure to provide.
